Forum Marine Industry of Russia is focused on shipbuilding development, port modernization, implementation of modern technologies in marine engineering and civil shipbuilding.
We as Turkish Association of Ship Industrialists (GESAD) and its recently founded organization Ship Specialized Industrial Organized Zone (SSIOZ) participate in Forum Marine Industry of Russia 2011 for establishing negotiations between business partners of ship industry and help to successfully promote members of our Association in Russian market and would bring an additional quality to the Forum.
The Forum is to be held under support of the Marine Board at the Government of Russian Federation, Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of RF, Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Ministry of Industry and Trade of RF, Ministry of Transportation of RF, Federal Agency on Fishery of RF, Federal Agency of Maritime and River Transport of RF, OAO United shipbuilding corporation, OAO United industrial corporation, OAO Russian Railways, industry associations and unions.
The Forum is intended to facilitate the open dialog between representatives of the industry, government agencies and business and to show main trends and directions the shipbuilding industry should be developed. The matters to be discussed include state support of shipbuilding, special purpose loan schemes, aid in upgrade and reconstruction of plants and the like.

The International Forum “Marine Industry of Russia” 2010 took place on May 19-21, 2010. 189 companies from Russia, Germany, England, Spain, China, Croatia, Poland, Finland, Turkey and Ukraine showcased their products and participated in the business events; 3400 professional visitors and officials attended the Forum 2010.
